Q: Do I need to bring my own partner for class?
A: No, if you don't have a partner we will provide you with someone to dance with in class.
Q: What should I wear to class?
A: Dress casual. Please wear shoes without rubber soles.
Q: Can I bring my children to class with me?
A: Yes, as long as they can sit for the length of the class without disrupting others.
Q: What style salsa do you teach?
A: We teach Puerto Rican style salsa on 1
Q: Can I pay as I go?
A: No. Classes are structured and progressive and requires full payment up front on the first day of class.
Q: Do you offer walk in classes?
A: No. Salsa and Bachata classes do not allow walk-in's. However, sometimes we offer drop-in classes prior to socials on Friday nights. Please visit our homepage or follow our Facebook page for upcoming events!
Q: What happens if I miss a class during the 6 weeks?
A: If it's available for you to make that class up on another day, then you can do that at no cost. DMSA also allows you to repeat a course that you have already paid for for no additional course. This currently only applies for Salsa and Bachata classes.
Q: Where can I find more places to learn or practice?
A: DMSA offers non-intimidating socials every Friday night at our Tampa location as well as free socials on Tuesday nights at our Clearwater location and Thursday nights at our Riverview location.
